It is your responsibility at all times to keep your personal information up to date. ISBT WMDA shall not be responsible to verify or update any of the information. Additional personal information may be requested to help identification or communication, e.g. a copy of your passport, your telephone number, the name of your national society. organisation you are working, CV. You will receive the following benefits:

- online access to the scientific journals ‘Vox Sanguinis’ and ‘The Science Series’, published by Wiley Inc.

- print copies of Wiley Inc.‘s ‘Vox Sanguinis’ and the ISBT magazine ‘Transfusion Today’. Members who pay a reduced membership fee (under 35 years old) only receive online access.
- a discount on ISBT congress registration fee upon registration

- free access to ISBT webinars and ISBT Live Journal Clubs
- free access to the ISBT Forum and Working Party materials on the ISBT website
- voting rights in the bi-annual elections for the ISBT Board of Directors, is eligible to stand in the elections for membership of the Board of Directors, and is eligible to nominate candidates for the elections to the Board of Directors
- access and voting rights to the ISBT annual General Assembly
- the electronic newsletter and other updates relevant to the Society via email. ISBT will send you basic email communications of which you cannot opt-out, as ISBT is obliged to inform you according to its statutes. If you decide you do not want to receive certain non-basic email communications from ISBT you can unsubscribe from these categories. All non-basic emails contain the possibility to unsubscribe.

as outlined in the WMDA bylaws. The Organisation must provide the Central Office with:

  1. Name, address and contact details;

  2. A statement endorsing the Code of Ethics of the Society;

  3. Name and address of the proposed affiliate representative to the Society.

  4. The number of employees or members of the Affiliate Institution.

  1. 2.4  Honorary and Affiliate members are entitled to attend and vote in the Society’s General Assembly, but they are not entitled to hold a position on the Board of Directors. Honorary and Affiliate members have the right to nominate candidates for elections of the Board of Directors.

  2. 2.5  Individual and Affiliate members must pay an annual contribution fee, the amount and the conditions of which will be approved by the General Assembly. Exemptions to this requirement are outlined in the By-laws of the Society. Honorary members are exempt from paying contributions.
