Member Responsibilities
All members are expected to:
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and WMDA's policies.
- Engage in ethical, professional, and respectful conduct at all times.
- Act with impartiality, ensuring that decisions are based on facts, fairness, and without discrimination or favoritism.
- Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or any form of misconduct.
- Protect confidential and proprietary information of the WMDA, its members and its stakeholders.
- Use the WMDA’s resources responsibly and only for intended purposes.
Conflict of Interest & Impartiality
- Members must avoid personal, financial, or professional interests that could improperly influence their decisions.
- If a potential conflict arises, it must be promptly disclosed to the WMDA Impartiality Committee (mail@wmda.info)
- Members must act without bias or favoritism, ensuring fairness in all WMDA matters.
Respectful & Inclusive Environment
- We are committed to a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or any form of harmful behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Members should communicate with respect and professionalism, including in digital and social media interactions.
Confidentiality & Data Protection
- Members must protect sensitive information and respect privacy regulations.
- Unauthorized sharing of confidential data, intellectual property, or personal information is strictly prohibited.
Reporting Violations & Whistleblower Protection
- Any concerns about violations of this Code should be reported to the Impartiality Committee (mail@wmda.info)
- Reports will be handled confidentially and without retaliation against whistleblowers.
Disciplinary Actions
Failure to comply with this Code may result in disciplinary actions, including warnings, suspension, or termination of membership, depending on the severity of the violation.
Review & Amendments
This Code of Conduct will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary.
