You may want to change the status of a patient. For example you may want to remove a patient from the active patient list by changing the status to "STP"

...

1. Open the patient you would like to change the status ofdeactivate. This can be done from the patient list or from a search results by clicking on the patient id. 
2. Scroll to the bottom and click "other actions"
3. Click on "Change Deactivate patient status"

4. Select the desired status. Please keep in mind that not all status transitions are allowed.

6. You will then be asked to select the reason for the deactivation. Select a value and click "Deactivate patient"
   Image Added In some cases you may need to fill out another field. Please do so and click "Update patient"
