Post-Transplant
Subsequent donation policyA donor may donate up to 3 times for a recipient, but not more than 2 HPCs per recipient. For a given donor, the lifetime maximum for HPC, Marrow donation is twice.
Anonymous contact allowedAnonymous correspondences are allowed starting the day of infusion. If a recipient passes away then only one anonymous correspondence is allowed per side unless consents are exchanged.
Direct contact allowedAllowed after 1 year post-TX. If a recipient passes away the donor can submit a request to the family and the waiting period is waived.
Gift exchange allowed1 anonymous gift exchange per donor and recipient is allowed, not to exceed $50 USD
